YOGYAKARTA HINDU TAMPLE

Hey , now i will take you visiting some place in yogyakarta and this for Hindu tample so much tample in yogyakarta , okay this is my suggestion for you visiting yogya :

1.Prambanan Tample

Prambanan Or Loro Jonggrang is the largest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia, which was built in the 9th century AD . This temple is dedicated to Trimurti , the three main Hindu gods are Brahma the creator god , the god Vishnu as the preserver , and Shiva the god of destruction . Based on the inscription Siwagrha original name of this temple complex is Siwagrha ( Sanskrit which means ' house of Shiva ' ) , and indeed in garbagriha ( main hall ) of the temple is the statue of Shiva Mahadeva dwells as high as three meters which showed that Lord Shiva in this temple are preferred .This temple complex is located in the Prambanan subdistrict , Sleman and Prambanan sub-district , Klaten , [ 1 ] approximately 17 kilometers northeast of Yogyakarta , 50 kilometers southwest of Surakarta and 120 km south of Semarang , just on the border between Central Java and Yogyakarta .  [ 2 ] It is very unique , Prambanan temple is located in the administrative region Bokoharjo village , Prambanan , Sleman , while the entrance of the Prambanan temple complex located in the administrative region Tlogo village , Prambanan , Klaten .This temple is including the UNESCO World Heritage Site , the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia , and one of the most beautiful temples in Southeast Asia . The architecture of the building is tall and slender shaped according to the Hindu architecture in general the main Shiva temple as the temple has reached a height of 47 meters in the center of the complex cluster of towering temples smaller.     [ 3 ] As one of the grandest temples in Southeast Asia , Prambanan temple the main attraction of tourists visit from all over the world . [ 4 ]According Siwagrha inscriptions , this temple was built around the year 850 AD by Rakai Pikatan , and continue to be developed and expanded by Balitung Maha Sambu , during Medang Mataram kingdom .















2.Boko Tample

Ratu Baka (Javanese : Candhi Ratu Baka ) is an archaeological site that is a complex number of the remaining buildings are located approximately 3 km south of Prambanan temple complex , 18 km east of Yogyakarta or 50 km southwest of the city of Surakarta , Java middle , Indonesia . Total area of ​​the complex is approximately 25 ha .This site displays the attributes of a place activism or residential sites , but their exact function is not clear . [ 1 ] estimated Boko 've used those in the 8th century during the Sailendra dynasty ( Rakai Panangkaran ) of the United Medang ( Hindu Mataram ) . Judging from the pattern of laying the remains of the building , allegedly this site is the former palace ( the royal palace ) . This opinion is based on the fact that the complex is not a temple or a building with a religious nature , but rather a fortified castle with evidence of the rest of the fortress wall and dry moat as a defense structure . [ 2 ] Remains of settlements are also found in the vicinity of this site .The name " Queen Baka " is derived from local legend . Ratu Baka ( Java language , literally meaning " king stork " ) is the father of Loro Jonggrang , which also became the name of the main temple at Prambanan temple complex .Administratively , the site is located in the District of Prambanan , Sleman District , Yogyakarta and lies at an altitude of almost 200 m above sea level .The site to be nominated to the UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995 .

 

 
























3.Candi Ijo

Down the road to the south of Queen Boko Palace complex is an exciting journey , especially for lovers of cultural tourism . How not , the building of the temple there were scattered like mushrooms in the rainy season . One of them is not a lot of the talk is Ijo Temple , a temple that is located the highest among the other temples in Yogyakarta.Ijo Temple was built around the 9th century , on a hill known as Green Hill Gumuk Ijo height is 410 m above sea level . Because of its height , it is not only the temple but also can enjoy the natural scenery in the form of lower terraces as in agricultural areas with steep slopes . Although not a fertile area , the landscape around the temple is very beautiful to enjoy .The temple complex consists of 17 building structures that are divided into 11 terraces . Building on the terrace to form a fence around the 11th , eight pole phallus , namely the four main temple building , and three ancillary temples . Building on the highest terrace is the most sacred .Encountered various forms of art since the entrance of the building belonging to the Hindu temple . Motif and its attributes are also found in Buddhist temples show that it is a form of acculturation temple of Hindu and Buddhist culture . Some temples have a similar motive when makara among others Ngawen , Plaosan and Sari .There are also statues that depict women and men who drift and leads to a certain side . The figure may have several meanings . First , as suwuk to mngusir evil spirits and the second as a symbol of unity of Lord Shiva and Goddess Uma . Unity is interpreted as the beginning of the creation of the universe . Unlike the statue in Prambanan , natural style of the statue in Ijo not lead to eroticism .Towards building ancillary temples on the terrace to the 11th , there is a place like a tub where a fire sacrifice ( homa ) . Right at the top of the rear wall of the tub, there are air holes or vents shaped parallelograms and triangles . The pit existence reflects the Hindu community that worships Brahma . 4.Candi sambisari

Surrounded by a stone fence with measurements of 50 mx 48 m, the main temple complex has three temples accompanied by perwara (companion). On the outside wall of the main building there is a niche containing a statue of Durga Mahisasuramardini (in the north), the statue of Ganesha (east), the statue of Agastya (south side), and on the west side there are two statues of gods doorman: Mahakala and Nandiswara.
